DJ Zinhle & Redi Thlabi among Africa's most powerful woman

Popular DJ, DJ Zinhle and radio presenter Redi Thlabi were included on a list of 21 woman from the African continent  named by Oprah's O magazine as the most powerful on the continent of Africa.

The list, similar to Time's most influential list, honours the woman in Africa who have inspired and uplifted others on the continent to follow and fulfill their goals.

Redi is honoured for her radio work and her outspoken views on woman's issues and struggles, while Zinhle was recognised not only for the power of her music, but also for her work in encouraging girls to break the DJ stereotypes by opening a DJ academy for girls.

The list also includes contributions from Oprah Winfrey,  Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Barry Bateman, Nikiwe Bikitsha and Thuli Mathonsela.

Congrats!
