DJ Zinhle on AKA "I told him to do his thing and I'll do mine"

It's been rumoured for months now, but tonight DJ Zinhle looks like she might set the record straight about her relationship with rapper AKA.

Zinhle will feature on Tuesday night's penultimate episode of this season's The Close Up with Nicky Greenwall.

Asked about her relationship with AKA, DJ Zinhle didn't deny that the pair were an item, but did say she had spoken to him about the boundaries of their relationship.

"It was something that we spoke about,'" she says, adding " I said, 'Listen, I don’t want you out there as my boyfriend I am not going to put you out there as the guy I am dating. You need to do what you do and I need to get out there for me. I am not trying to be the girl that is dating 'whoever'.

She admits the decision to draw those boundaries were hard on her. "The thing is, you are a girl you are in love and you want to show off - but, you can't," she says.
