What is it about? Winnie Mandela's life has been fraught with controversy. But before all of that, she was married to the man who became the father of South Africa. She helped spread Madiba's message and this story gives us an in-depth look at the pain and suffering she had to endure. But there was also another side to Winnie and this film is brave enough to explore that too.

Our fave bits: Winnie Mandela herself made it clear that she had no association with this film. But, that doesn't matter. For perhaps the first time, we get a look at Winnie, the mother of the nation turned into a thug, which even drew criticism from Tata himself.
