Derek Van Dam says goodbye

Yep, he's gone.

Derek Van Dam did his last weather forecast on etv on Friday and boy, was it a bittersweet moment. But everything comes to an end, right? Derek, who's been with the channel for over six years, posted a video on Youtube saying goodbye to South Africa.

In the video, he is seen going around the news room bidding farewell to his colleagues, before recording his message.

Here's part of his message: "From the bottom of my heart to everyone in South Africa and abroad who's supported me through this magnificent journey six and a half years, thank you so much. I'll see you soon."

We'll definitely miss his good looks on our telly.
