Did Senzo really know the man that killed him?

It has emerged that slain soccer star Senzo Meyiwa may have known his killer.

City Press has revealed that police are now investigating those who were in the house on the evening Senzo was killed, a group which includes singer Kelly Khumalo and several others.

The paper says that there were 7 adults in the house at the time of the incident and quotes one of the detectives on the case as saying that a guest in the home at the time will soon be pulled in for questioning, after his firearm was taken in for "forensic investigation."

Apparently police have changed the direction of the investigation, now doubting whether the murder came about as a result of an armed robber at the house, after they received a tip off that one of the guests had told friends he had been coached into what to say in his testimony.

The police have declined to comment on the new development, saying investigations were ongoing.
