Dineo Moeketsi: "Black people are shy with showing love"

The beautiful TV presenter believes "black people" are shy of "public affection."

Dineo, who is the host of the new reality TV show, 'My Perfect Proposal' told Sunday World that she believes that this stems from the cultural up-bringing of most black people.

"When one sees a black couple or family showing affection towards one another, it sometimes feels strange, simply because we grew up in homes where such things as being lovey dovey were a rarity," she explained.

Dineo added that she believes it's perfectly okay to show love and celebrate it everywhere. "It’s the simple thing like holding hands and kissing. Those things are not easily done by us, blacks," she added.

When asked about her advice to couples wanting to tie the knot, Dineo had this to say: "Live in the moment, and let your significant other see that you love them enough to put an effort in showing appreciation."

Aww!
