Johannesburg - They were closer than close, so when rapper Flabba died in March, it felt like a piece of Dineo Ranaka had gone with him.
Now, nearly 5 months after Skwatta Kamp's Nkululeko “Flabba” Habedi death, Dineo has spoken again about the pain she has to live with.
"Flabba and I were in love on another level. Sometimes I wish we'd dated," Dineo reveals to Cosmopolitan.
"I often said to him, 'We both have kids,we get each other; why don't we just get it on?' And he would say, 'You're crazy'. And I would say, 'You're broke.' We were best friends," Dineo remembers fondly.
She says she has had struggle to come to terms with what happened and forgive Flabba's girlfriend for killing her friend.
"I have had to forgive this girl. There is nothing we can do to bring Flabba back."
Girl, we're here if you ever need a shoulder to cry on.
