Doctor Khumalo's estranged wife: "I was a prisoner in the marriage"

By now we all know that football legend Doctor Khumalo and his wife Blanche Garises are heading for a divorce. But what is most surprising are the reasons for the divorce.

Talking to Sunday Sun, Blanche says that their "love just died" but she does detail some of the conditions she says she lived in... many of which no doubt led to the love dying.

"We have been sleeping in the same room for at least three years," she told the paper.

She says there was just no emotional or sexual connection anymore and that, in truth, she was not happy from the start.

"I was unhappy from day one because Doctor wouldn't allow my mum and dad to visit us at the house. And he didn't accept my son!"she added.

"I felt lonely and miserable . Neither of us cheated on the other but I was like a prisoner in the marriage. I've been nothing but loyal to Doctor. Our love just died," she says.
