Dr Malinga is clearly a man of many talents. The musician, who's also known for his killer dance moves, will star in the second season of SABC 2's Gauteng Maboneng. This is Dr Malinga's acting debut and he'll be playing a character named Lebo.
Speaking about the show, SABC 2 publicist Lebo Malete said, "Sitcoms have always been a hit with our viewers. The show zooms into a dysfunctional family. Our tagline is ‘a happily dysfunctional family working things out’. So we are all about celebrating family - even if it may be a bit broken, don’t throw it away. It’s about valuing family relationships. We believe that the second season will be more exciting and thrilling than the first season was."
The show is back on SABC 2 from Monday, 20 October at 8pm.
