The end of Minneleng was so heartbreaking to South Africans, that many still don't believe the split is real. Even we were upset when we heard they had parted ways.

TRUE LOVE

After keeping their relationship private for a while, Minnie Dlamini and Itumeleng Khune just couldn't hide it any more: they were in love and they wanted the world to know. From their cute snaps on Instagram to their banter on Twitter (he called her MDK) it was obvious that they were happy. We saw them out and about on a few occasions and got to witness their chemistry first hand. It was really one of those relationships that was hard to explain - but they just had it. It was there and it was so real. In fact, we started predicting a wedding announcement and we were totes hoping for an invite too... Itu even sent rumours into overdrive after helping Minnie with her dress while at a function and he blurted out, "This is our big day rehearsal."

THE SPLIT

But it was not meant to be. Minneleng sent shockwaves around SA after news started doing the rounds that they had split. Was it true? Could it be? What happened? He cheated? She was a diva? Say it isn't so. As with any relationship, there were so many rumours that even we couldn't keep up. The Juice understands that it had a lot to do with his friends, who have raised eyebrows for living off of his good fortune. Apparently there was trouble as Minnie saw from the start how they used him and obvs they didn't take well to that.

In the end though, the point was that one of our fave couples had split. The spark in Minnie's eyes was gone and even Itu, who tried to keep up appearances, just didn't seem happy.

RECONCILIATION?

Let it be known that this is reason we will forever love 2015. They year Minneleng reconcile. Sources close to Itu have told The Juice that he 'talks about her all the time.'  They say that he was gushing over Minnie's calendar pics recently and he just isn't the same without her. "He snaps all the time and everything and anything." And, instead of partying this December with his pals, Itu apparently spent time with his family. (We guess they missed the free booze)

But the big question is: will Minnie take him back? "She's still hurting from the lies and humiliation, and although she loves him, she's weary of opening that door," says a source. Adding, "She's afraid to go through a period of anonymous open letters from his sidekicks." Of course, who wouldn't be! But those close to the pair are all for the relationship to work out. "I don't know why they don't just work things out. They are just not the same without each other. "

Guys, we've seen you together. You love each other! You do. So, lock yourselves in a room and work it out. Forgive and apologise. You were both so young, but you're wiser now. Remember you are adored, but that also brings out jealousy. Make sure to lock that all out and make this about you and no one else. Also, here's hoping we do get that wedding invite...
