Johannesburg - Kenny Kunene may be in the eye of the storm over his upcoming book, but that hasn't stopped the controversial businessman from apparently 'revealing' another celebrity actress he's dated.
Kenny caused a frenzy when he revealed that his upcoming book would talk about his affairs with DJ Zama Ngcobo and actress Sophie Ndaba. But Kenny apparently told Move magazine recently that Zama and Sophie were not the only celebs he had dated, saying that he had dated 5 different celebrities, including Eda Rose!
He refused to name the other two celebs, but Eda says Kenny is talking nonsense and says she's never dated the Sushi King.
"I never dated him at all! Not even once! I was his date to an event. That is it," she told The Juice.
She explains to The Juice that Kenny was in talks with her several years ago about signing her to his record label as a singer. As the negotiations progressed, Kenny asked Eda to be his date to President Zuma's daughter, Duduzile's wedding. She says she thought it was a good idea to go network and get to know her potential boss better.
But when she arrived at the wedding, people started taking pictures and rumours started that they were dating-claims, she says, Kenny never confirmed nor denied.
The incident may have happened several years ago but Eda says she has no fears over the rumours, even if Kenny decides to write about it in his upcoming book.
"I really don't care if I'm mentioned in the book. I've always said that I've never dated him. It's just kind of sad. It's annoying. It's like four years later. Could he not have done something else? I'm not even in the industry anymore," she says.
