Johannesburg- DJ Euphonik's journey to international stardom started with him having a dream and chasing it.
The renowned house DJ was recently asked to do an interview for CNN African Voices, where he gave the rest of the world a glimpse into his humble beginnings.
In the heart-warming video, Euphonik took viewers back to the township of Daveyton, where he grew up.
"Never in my wildest dreams did I think that DJ'ing could be a feasible career. Kids need to understand that it's great to dream but it's also important to go out there and achieve your dreams," he said in the interview.
Euphonik explained that his dad always taught him that "each man will reap the rewards of their own sweat."
