Johannesburg- AKA has fallen prey to a fake Twitter account, which is causing quite a stir with its controversial tweets.
Even though we know that the rapper can be outspoken himself- this time it's not him, guys!
A series of tweets aimed at Boity Thulo, which emerged yesterday, is the doing of a fake account.
AKA's publicist, Sheila Afari confirmed to The Juice that all tweets that went out on Tuesday, were from the fake account and not the rappers.
"The tweets that went out yesterday were from a fake account, not AKA's. Some people have since gone to alter screen grabs to make it look like AKA tweeted those posts, but none of them came from his account. The fake account with the original tweets wasn't a verified account and only had about 160 followers," she told us.
The All Eyes on Me star also took to Twitter to set the record straight making it clear that there is no hard feelings between him and Boity.
So there you have it guys, AKA is innocent this time.
Here's one of the tweets, which caused a frenzy:
But AKA says there is no issue...
There was never a Boity vs AKA situation. I wouldn't allow that. https://t.co/fxpJmaWN6g
