Oh no he didn't!
Fashion stylist Felipe Mazibuko has apparently referred to Freshly Ground's Zolani Mahola as "scruffy". According to Sunday Sun, after seeing Zolani on a special Heritage Day braai show on Top Billing, Felipe took to Facebook and wrote that instead of a braai, Zolani should have a makeover session.
He then wrote: "Dirtyfontein." The paper reported that Felipe's followers agreed that the singer needs a hot bath and a good scrubbing. Sources close to Zolani apparently said she heard about Felipe's comment and was unimpressed.
A source close to Felipe said: "Felipe says what’s on his mind. We asked him about it and he said he was expressing his views. "(He indicated that) if people don’t agree – to hell with them!" The source added that Felipe doesn't have beef with Zolani, but he was "only trying to help a black sister from going down".
"No one says she should put on a weave. But at least look clean and neat," the source told the paper.
Zolani told Sunday Sun: "I don’t care and I wished I could care what people think of me. That’s all I can say!"
Felipe’s phone apparently rang unanswered and he didn't return Sunday Sun's messages at the time of going to print.
