Johannesburg- Late hip hop star Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi's brother Mpho Motsoari is expected to continue his testimony when the Randburg High Court resumes today.
When the murder trial got underway on Monday morning, the state's first witness to take the stand was Flabba's cousin Luyanda Sulupha, who told the court what he had witnessed on the night of Flabba's death.
Luyanda recalled how Flabba got home around 1am on 9 March, and how he and murder-accused Sindi Manqele had argued for 30 minutes before she (Sindi) ran outside screaming for help. (Read that story here)
The second state witness, who was sworn in to give evidence an hour before court adjourned for the day was the rapper's brother Mpho.
Mpho told the court that the last words he heard from Flabba was "this b**ch just stabbed me."
The court heard how Mpho was too scared to enter the room at first, but when he did, he found Luyanda and Sindi performing CPR on Flabba.
Shortly into Mpho's testimony court adjourned for the day.
