Flabba's final send off

Friends, family and fans gathered this morning to pay their last respects to slain rapper Flabba.

Sadness filled the air as mourners filled up Alexandra stadium to bid farewell to the musician.

As the crowd waited for proceedings to get underway, hip-hop songs by Flabba could be heard in the background.

A neighbour, Tiny Bopape told the crowd that he could not understand why Flabba would be killed in such a way and that the entire Alex community had lost a brother.

"Now that Flabba is gone, we in Alexandra don't know who is going to tease us and make us laugh constantly.," he said.

Flabba's family could not hold back their tears as they entered the stadium shortly after his body arrived.
