Flabba's girlfriend set to appear in court

Johannesburg - The woman accused of killing Skwatta Kamp musician, Nkululeko 'Flabba' Habedi, is set to appear in court on Tuesday morning.

Sindisiwe Manqele has been out on bail after being charged with the murder of her boyfriend earlier that month.

It's alleged that she stabbed him to death. In her bail application, her legal team said that it would prove that her actions were in self-defence.  A series of messages showing that he was allegedly abusive towards her are expected to be shown during the trial as evidence.

In her affidavit, Sindisiwe says: "I deny that this was done unlawfully and intentionally by myself. I had been brutally attacked by the deceased on the day of his death. There was imminent danger to my life on the day in question."

The Juice exclusively reported that the couple had broken up days before Flabba's death, only to reconcile the day before he died.
