Flabba's wife: "I don't regret a moment with you"

Flabba's wife, Mpho Habedi brought the crowd to tears with a moving tribute to her late husband.

Mpho is Flabba's first wife and they had been together for 20 years before they separated.

A statement from Mpho to Flabba was read out at the funeral at Alexandra stadium this morning.

" I was sugar and spice...I say with pride, I don't regret a moment of our time together.  I remember one day you said to me, our love is like the sun. It had set for a few hours, but was going to rise," read the statement. 

Mpho described how she would miss their family hugs between Flabba, herself and their daughter Lesego. She asked Flabba to watch over them and she promised to take care of both his children.

"Where there is love, there is God. I will always love you. Thank you my husband," she added.

Flabba leaves behind two children, a son and a daughter.
