Former Bafana captain accused of playing the field

Johannesburg - When Mbazo said he was going back to school, we didn't think he meant to find a girlfriend.

According to Sowetan, former Bafana Bafana captain Aaron Mokoena has been using his fancy footwork and flirty tongue to score himself a new girlfriend. The only problem is she's a 22-year-old university student and her dad isn't pleased.

Peter Mabaso, the father of 22-year-old Laura, told the paper that his daughter has been having a romantic relationship with Aaron for sometime and whenever he tries to confront her about it, she just avoids him.

Peter says his daughter's romance with Mbazo has caused her to neglect her studies and has seen her expelled the University of North West.

"He is running around with a young girl who should be concentrating on her studies. I received a letter from the university informing me that she has been expelled because of poor performance." Peter says.

But Aaron says he is not the one to blame, denying that he knows "a person by the name of Laura."

Well, that's awkward.
