Johannesburg - Hands up! Who's excited for the return of Prada?
Actor Ashish Gangapersad, who played the role of Prada on SABC 3's Isidingo, will soon be returning to our TV screens!
Speaking to The Juice, Ashish confirmed that he will be making his return to the small screen as a lawyer on e.tv's hit soapie Scandal!
"It's good to be back on screen. I've always been a fan of the show and I have friends who are involved on the show. It feels good. It's just a different platform and a different character," he tells us.
Ashish reveals that he will play the role of an attorney sent to represent Tino on the soapie.
He admits that his character will fade in and out of the show, but is hoping fans will love him enough to make his role a permanent one on the show.
"Much like Prada, if the reception is good and people like him, and if the story calls for it, then I'm hoping fans will be able to see my character more and more. I'm approaching it like a brand new actor," he says.
And although he is currently hard at work on the set of the show, Ashish says fans can only expect to see him on their TV screens around the 25th of September.
