DJ Zinhle's mommy blog will melt your heart

Johannesburg - Pregnancy can be one of the most amazing experiences in life, a moment to reflect on the value of life- just ask DJ Zinhle.

We all know how much Zinhle is loving being preggers! In fact, she loves it so much, she's started her own  blog/ virtual diary to share her journey.

The blog is called Memories by DJ Zinhle and can be accessed HERE.

And while we're totes in love with her blog, here's 4 'moments' we loved the most from Zinhle's new diary

The moment she told AKA

"I had to tell my boyfriend who was out of the country at the time. I couldn’t wait till he got back, so I took a picture of the stick and sent it to him."

"He, as many men would, responded with, “What does this mean?”. After announcing that our lives were going to change forever, with the simple words, “It means we are pregnant”, he lovingly asked me if I was scared. I responded, “Yes, but I am also happy, you?”

"He responded, “I am scared too. I love you and I wouldn’t do this with anybody else but you. I still would have preferred if you told me face to face,” she wrote.

The moment her friends 'just knew'

"She walked in and said, “I could tell you were trying to hide something but I know you are pregnant because the other day I spilled milk”. Let me explain, the spilling of milk is considered to be a sign that someone in your family or someone close to you is pregnant."

"Nomndeni didn’t even bother to look at the results on the stick, she was sure I was pregnant. Maybe it was her way of communicating with the universe since she knew how much my boyfriend and I wanted to conceive,' she wrote.

The moment the DR told her she had to stop exercising for the health of her child

"Twenty weeks into my pregnancy, a  simple visit to the doctor’s rooms changed everything. He picked up a complication which required me to be admitted to the hospital immediately. I had an operation the next day and everything changed."

"The doctor explained my condition to me and made it clear that if I wanted the baby to survive, I would need to slow down. I had no option but to completely stop my exercise routine and any travelling plans and to take it easy … very easy," she wrote.

The moment her wardrobe changed

“'Is that my shirt?' asked my boyfriend. 'Well, it used to be', I answered. I left him no choice but to share his clothes with me during my pregnancy. My reasoning was simple … my clothes don’t fit me and most of his does."

"I don’t always wear his clothes by choice and they don’t always offer the most stylish looks, but I have managed to make some of his pieces work for me and they look great when paired with some of my other items," she wrote
