Fourth contestant exits Idols SA

It turned out to be a sad night for Idols contestant Tumi Morobane.

Tumi was the fourth contestant to leave the competition last night. London Louw (24) and Lize Mynhardt  shared the bottom three positions with Tumi this week – the fourth time in a row for London. Interestingly, Lize was all three Idols judges’ choice for best performer of the night in the Top 8 show last week.

Tumi told The Juice that she was incredibly disheartened about being voted off but was thankful for the experience she gained on the show.

"I'm actually shocked as I didn't expect to get voted off at this stage, but it was an amazing experience. I'm grateful for all the lessons I've learnt from mentors and will use it to pursue my career in music," she added.

Tumi promised fans that this was not the last time they'd be seeing her.
