Dineo has landed herself a feature role in the upcoming film, Tell Me Sweet Something.
Talking about her role in the romantic comedy set in Johannesburg, Dineo said she was excited to feature in the film alongside director Akin Omotoso. " I've worked with Akin before and when he did this film he approached me to be in it," she explains.
"It's nothing hectic. Just a small role playing a character who comes in and out of the film throughout, pretty much just pushing the narrative along" she revealed.
The TV presenter and actress stuck a picture of herself on set yesterday with the caption "Spent the day on the @sweetsomethingz set with these awesome people. "
Tell Me Sweet Something is produced by the same team who produced the hilarious box office hit, Material. It is a love story based in Johannesburg, centering around the lives of Moratiwa (Nomzamo Mbatha of Isibaya fame) , an aspiring writer who owns and runs a bookstore in the heart of Johannesburg with little success until she meets Nat (Maps Maponyane), a model who wants to be loved for his mind and not his body. Despite him never having finished a book in his life, the pair fall in love, much to the disgust of Nat's pregnant ex, Sashi.
The film is currently being filmed on location at Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg. So if you have a spare moment why not head down there and see what you can see.
