Johannesburg- Landing the lead role on Terry Pheto's debut film, Ayanda and The Mechanic was nothing short of a dream come true for actress Fulu Mugovhani.
And, even though Fulu is ecstatic at bagging such a lucrative role, it came with a whole list of challenges.
Talking to City Press, Fulu revealed that being a proud and devout Catholic, she had to come to terms with some of the things the role expected of her.
"I remember telling a friend that Ayanda smokes and there is a sex scene. It's not full frontal, but you can see side boob and people on set will see everything. I had to come to terms with these things as Fulu and then as an actor," she told the paper.
But Fulu was determined to overcome these hurdles and the proof of her hard work can be seen in the film.
She's now decided to celebrate herself and focus on mastering her craft.
