Generations: The Legacy's Cosmo on playing a thug

Ronnie Nyakale's portrayal of Cosmo on Generations: The Legacy is very good! It's so good that some people are wondering if the actor, who once played a bad guy on Yizo Yizo, is also thug in real life.

On how people react when they seem in public, Ronnie told Drum people realise that he is not the person that he plays on TV and that it's just a role he's portraying. He said he used to be selective about the roles he plays, but that has changed. "When I started being selective, I was out of a job for a while. Being selective doesn’t put food on the table, you have to work and use all the opportunities you have to get ahead in life."

On Generations: The Legacy, Ronnie is very tight with his family and does everything in him power to make sure that they're well taken care of. He told Drum that he does the same for his family in real life.

He explained: "Actually, I've been there for a cousin. I once had to intervene when my cousin's boyfriend came to the house to take her away. I was ?angry because it showed that he had little respect for our home and for me too. For us guys, it’s a disgrace if a guy just walks into your house and behaves like that. But eventually, you reach a point where you have to let go because you realise they’re big girls and they can look after themselves."
