Generations actor Anga Makubalo is NOT broke and friendless

It was rumoured last weekend that former Generations actor Anga Makubalo was down and out, broke and friendless. A claim he has laughed off.

The actor, who played the part of MJ on the popular soap, is said to have been going through hard times since he left the show ,with his friends abandoning him (because they feared he would soon be down and out) and his music career in jeopardy after DJ Tira decided to not sign him to his Afrotainment label.

But Anga says the rumours are simply not true.

He took to Facebook on Monday to clear the air. "So some Sunday paper is CONVINCED that Tira doesn't want me at Afrotainment, that he was just using my Generations fame, that I have no friends and NO MONEY! Hahahahaha.wtf????," he wrote.

We all know that Anga has been concentrating on his music career since leaving the popular soapie and that he will probably end up signing to DJ Tira's label Afrotainment. But we're glad the rumours aren't true and he can get back to making music!

Let's just hope he makes tunes like MJ (and not the Generations kind).
