Generations returns tonight!

The wait is over! Generations: The Legacy is returning to our screens this evening.

The show, which ended in August, is returning with a new cast and familiar faces Connie Ferguson and Rapulana Seiphemo.Tonight's episode will begin two years later with the opening scene at Paul Moroka's tombstone unveiling. This was revealed the Generations media launch held in Johannesburg this morning.

Additions have been made to the show including Smanga Moroka, who'll be playing Archie Moroka's son. He is also the heir to the Moroka family business. There are also twists which include Karabo's inability to have children, while Angela and Jonathan are all grown up.

Although the show is making a comeback as expected, Generations creator Mfundi Vundla said the writing department had the biggest challenge. We understand that it couldn't have been easy to come up with a new storyline and characters in just two months. But from what we saw and heard this morning, the show will be worth watching.
