Johannesburg - Andile kaMajole has opened about being molested as child by a relative.

In an interview with Move!, the gospel star revealed that the harrowing ordeal happened between the ages of 9 and 15, when he used to share a bed with the relative.

He said he would wake up with semen on his pants, however at the the time, he couldn't not understand how it came about, until one night when he woke up to find his relative on top of him. Despite freaking out, he did nothing and suffered in silence.

"Although deep down I knew that what he was doing was wrong, I did not know what to do," the told the mag. "Back in those days it was difficult to confront elderly people with something like that," he added.

He claimed the sexual abuse prompted suicidal thoughts, as he felt dirty and could no longer live with himself.

However, the muso said he has since forgiven his molester, after facing him in 2013.

"I just stood in front of him and froze. I was angry and I just wanted to ask him why he had done this to me. But then I realised that fighting him was not the solution," he recalled.

"I just walked away and decided that God will be the one to judge. I have forgiven him," he added.
