Johannesburg- It's no secret that Deborah Fraser has had her fair share of controversy.
From a very nasty and public divorce, to making headlines for a feud with Arthur Mafokate, Deborah has faced numerous hurdles.
At the time of her divorce from pastor Sockey Okeke, it was reported that the singer's marriage ended after jealousy, and emotional and physical abuse.
Sockey also hit back at those accusations by claiming that she "did terrible things to me."
But the good news is that the gospel star has managed to overcome those hurdles, both in her professional and personal life.
In fact Move! magazine is reporting that Deborah has a new man in her life, and is happier than ever.
"After my divorce, I took a break and found love again. I have someone special in my life. He respects me and is not after my money and fame," she told the mag.
She added that she's grown wiser and knows exactly what she's looking for in a man.
"I'm at a point where I know what I want in a man. I can't rush into marriage, because one needs to know the person before committing. For example: do they love your children? Have they accepted them," Deborah explained.
At least she's one step closer to her happily ever after, right?
