Graeme Smith's wife on those nasty divorce rumours

Soon after Graeme Smith and Morgan Deane announced that they'll be calling the curtain on their marriage, rumours swirled around that their marital problems started as far back as March last year, with claims that Morgan pushed the former Proteas captain to retire and focus on his family.

However, Morgan recently took to Twitter to rubbish the claims. It turns out she actually tried to convince him not to quit cricket.

"You know when u read something & u say 'wow that's a spin & a half done on that story!!!' ..& then u get back to raising ur babies again,"  she tweeted, before adding: "G had NO marriage problems in March. I was the 1 who tried to convince him NOT to retire.No one knew it was coming.... Leave me out of this."
