The hit DJ, who has been in the centre of a storm over his romance with Bonang, posted a picture of a promise ring on his Instagram last night, starting a debate about who the ring belongs to.

The picture of a well manicured hand with a huge diamond on it gives no clues away as to who the owner is, but Eu explained that the ring belonged to a friend of his, captioning the photo: "One of my friends got a promise ring from her boyfriend. Guys don't love themselves hey!!

But the explanation wasn't good enough for some fans who questioned who the "friend" was, believing it may be a sneaky way for Eu to announce that things are getting a little more serious in his relationship with Bonang, interrogating the hand shape and finger nails in the picture for clues.

While we don't believe for a second that the hand belongs to Bonang, we would love it if Eu suddenly popped a ring for Bonang, even if it's just to set aside the pesky rumours of relationship troubles between the two.
