Has Cassper Nyovest already filled up the dome?

Johannesburg - Fans were in a frenzy on Thursday when it appeared as though tickets for Cassper Nyovest's #FillUpTheDome show had sold out!

A quick check on the Ticketpro website showed the show all but sold out, with fans unable to book tickets from any of the designated areas without encountering a "sold out" notification.

But according to Cassper's management the Dome has not yet been filled and that the confusion was caused by a system error.

"It's not officially sold out. There was a slight system error, apparently there was too much traffic or something, but it is up and running now. There are still so many calls to Ticketpro, so many calls to Cassper, asking for tickets," Cassper's team told The Juice.

The good news is that there are still around a 1000 tickets left for the show. Which they believe will all be gone by the weekend.

The idea to fill up the dome came several months ago when Cassper announced that in the light of international artists coming to the dome (and not being able to fill it) he wanted to show that a local artist is big enough to fill up the dome by themselves (read more about that here).

It was announced recently that Cassper will be joined by friends Major League DJz, Riky Rick, Anatii and Tol Ass Mo (more on that here).

So go get your tickets soon, or you'll have to make do with listening to the show from the pavement outside....
