Johannesburg - AKA has dropped his highly anticipated music video for his latest track, Baddest.
Before dropping his latest music video, AKA took to twitter explaining that even though the ongoing student protests are more important at this time, it is his bread and butter.
AKA dropped the song with Khuli Chana, Burna Boy and Yanga a few weeks back but delayed the music video to this week, even though, as AKA admits, it is under unfortunate circumstances.
I'm finding it difficult to push my music at times like these ... If you care, I've got a new video out. #BaddestVid pic.twitter.com/QGzJcdO7YJ

When the video dropped yesterday it really didn't matter to me. I was marching. That was more important then, and still is.

While we are in the midst of tense times ... You can't honestly expect me not to promote the work that feeds my daughter. It's my job.

I think everyone's emotions are running high so it's best to just concentrate on the matter at hand. #FeesMustFall

Ever since receiving a call from musician Simphiwe Dana earlier this week, AKA has been a keen activist in the student protests, even going to march with the students on Tuesday (read more about that here).
