How Arthur plans to make an epic 2015 comeback!

Tjo!  It's been ages since we last heard anything from the self-proclaimed King of Kwaito, Arthur Mafokate.

But lucky for us, and his fans, Arthur is planning to make 2015 his year, in a big way!

Here's how:

A new (International!)tour

It will all start with an an overseas tour next month, which according to the Daily Sun, will see our Arthur perform across Canada with Chomee, who is signed to his label 999.

A new album

According to the paper, Arthur is set to release a new album in March this year but is a bit shy to share any details about it, including the title, wanting it to be a surprise for his fans.

Talking about the album, his first since 2011,  Arthur says:  “To me it’s a long time coming, especially knowing that many artists look up to me. We always talk about the good times, advising each other about our next projects"

“Although the kwaito market is challenging at the moment, I’m determined to move it forward,” he adds.

New Productions!

Arthur has a bunch of up-and-coming artists on his 999 label and he's hinted that many of them will be releasing albums in the early part of the year. “We have been busy since last year, working on our albums in the studio," he says, "and now I can boldly say they are ready to rock the music scene!," he says of the artists on his label (which include the likes of Chomee, Ishmael and AJ).

“It wasn’t easy but we managed to get it right for our fans,” he adds!

Here's to hoping we see some more of Arthur in 2015, and not just on the seashore!
