How Wizkid got Drake on his mega hit

Johannesburg - It's not everyday that an African artist gets one of the world's biggest rappers to feature on his track.

So when Naija rapper, Wizkid, dropped the news that his song Ojuelegba would feature Drake (yes! THE Drake), everyone was scratching their heads and wondering how!

Well, the secret is out! And it seem all it took was a DM!

Speaking to Ghana's Empire FM, the Naija superstar reveals how he got his homie Drake on the track.

“I was there and saw that Drake followed me on Instagram so I DMed him and I was like ‘Yo, I’m a big fan of your music’ and he was like, 'I like your music as well'."

"So we started talking and we talked about hooking up in London, so I went to London the next day and when I got there, I saw that he had already done his verse to the song, it was just funny!" he adds.

We wonder if one of our rappers can do the same? Go on, Cass, try Kendrick Lemar!
