Hulisani Ravele's visit home leaves her refreshed

Johannesburg - We all know that feeling of being tired, overwhelmed or maybe just in need of some kind of lift?

Hulisani Ravele recently paid a visit to her home town and explained how the visit left her feeling refreshed and focussed.

She opened up about prayer, faith and visiting her father's grave.

Read her heartwarming message here:

Back from Venda feeling refreshed, refocused, and most importantly centered. My family in Venda are very strict about every night family prayer, a verse is opened, discussed, and followed by everyone praying. One of my aunts came over on Saturday and chose to speak about how God is ALWAYS thinking about you, like always, and how sometimes you want things to happen a certain way and you want them to happen now but there is a reason for the delay which you're not even trying to see or hear. She made the simple example of how we were meant to depart to come to Venda at 9am on Friday but ended up leaving at 1pm only, but in your irritation of a late departure you don't stop to realise or consider what God was getting out of the way for you to have a safe journey, for the road to be open for you. That struck a chord in me, I had a dream-impatience-breakdown just last week. In that moment, that day, I did not stop to think that this delay could be because certain things are being cleared out of my way, out of my surroundings, out of my heart, so I can move forward on a clear path. My aunt then spoke about faith and how it cannot exist in the same place as fear, she touched my heart. She ended off by saying you think you are working out your plans here in life, it's not your plans. She said you think you planned to come to Venda to visit your father's grave as do every year but actually He planned for you to come to Venda to make way for something else to happen, in your heart and back at home. He had to move you from one place to another so something else could slip in. As much as I believe and know that I went to see my father's grave this past weekend, I now know that He trekked me all those kilometres just to deliver a message using my aunt as a conduit. Like I said, back from Venda feeling refreshed, refocused, and most importantly centered. #thisthingcalledlife #thispowercalledGod #heavenandearthcollide
