City Press is reporting that murder-accused Sindisiwe Manqele's defence is expected to use 'apologetic' text messages to prove her self-defence claims.
It's believed that a series of text messages from Flabba to Sindi after one of many fights will be used as key evidence when her trial starts.
Sources close to Sindi revealed to the paper that in one message, Flabba apologised profusely and even admitted to being emotionally abusive.
"I'm sorry, I have messed up," read one of the messages.
Meanwhile, one of Sindi's close friends told the paper that she is battling to cope since being released on bail. She's aparently been advised to seek professional help.
Sindi is due back in court on 13 May where a trial date is expected to be set.
