IMPRESSIVE! Donald makes a million downloads

Donald this week announced that downloads from his previous album, 2012's Train of Love, have exceeded one million, but he'll leave the wild celebrations to those like Cassper Nyovest.

Talking to The Juice, Donald says the success of the album and all the downloads it accumulated came as a surprise to him. "It was definitely something I didn't expect from the album. I expected it would grow as time went on, but God had different plans for me," he says.

"It's been amazing for me to learn that I am one of very few artists in this country that has achieved the feat of over a million downloads. Artists like DJ Cleo and Mafikizola. So to be mentioned in the same breath as them is amazing," he says, adding "I'm humbled by the support that I've received".

Asked if he would celebrate the achievement with a new haircut or flashy ride, Donald says he'll leave it to others to celebrate.

"Nah. Going gold or platinum (like his previous albums have) is an achievement for the album and, for me, it has nothing to do with your image. My image is something people are used to. I wouldn't do it but it seems to be working for Cassper," he says.

We guess you'll just be sticking to your red mic then, hey Donald?
