Vincent Bones is probably still celebrating after winning this year's SA Idols. The singer, who was once a homeless teenager, managed to break free from that life and has now made a name for himself.
His life changed after he was put into Boys Town in Randfontein and managed to finish his studies.
After winning the show, Vincent told TV with Thinus that the first thing he needs is a house. "That's one of the things at the moment right now in my mind, so that I can get a stable pace for my family," he said, adding that he was probably nervous person throughout the season.
He continued: "The best thing I can say is to believe in yourself a little bit. If you know your talent, that will help you. Because if you come to a show like Idols, you need to make sure that you work on your confidence a little bit," he told the blog.
Vincent also mentioned that he will never forget where he comes from. He added that he has people who constantly remind him of who he is and where he comes from. "So for me, I feel safe because I've got those people that will always be there for me."
