In case you missed it: Bafana players visit Senzo Meyiwa's grave

Bafana Bafana players paid their respects to their late captain Senzo Meyiwa on Monday.

The team, which was led by coach Shakes Mashaba, went to Senzo's grave in Chesterville, Durban. The team then visited the late Orlando Pirates player's home in Umlazi.

Bafana Bafana are currently in Durban preparing for their match against Sudan at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday. According to Sunday World, Shakes said: "It was very important for us to do this. It was a very good thing and it was befitting for Senzo."

He added: "Whenever something like this happens, the mood is always very different. Some are happy, some are sad, others are still trying to come to terms with what has happened. But as we have seen, after the whole thing [the mood] is getting better."
