Former Proteas captain, Graeme Smith and his wife Morgan Deane are getting divorced.

The couple made the shocking announcement through their lawyer late last night. The couple's legal representative David Becker confirmed that after three years together they've decided to split.

"I confirm that Graeme and Morgan are unfortunately divorcing. This is obviously a private matter and the couple would ask that their privacy is respected during this time, both for the sake of themselves and their children," he explained.

The news comes as quite a shocker to fans across the country as just two months ago all seemed well between the couple. They were holidaying in Knysna and filled their Instagram accounts with snaps.
