After more than a decade on 5FM Gareth Cliff decided it was time to leave.

The radio personality shocked the country and his loyal listeners when he made the announcement at the start of the year.

It's no secret that Gareth found himself in trouble on more than one occasion for his controversial on-air comments and he felt like the time had come for him start a revolution.

And, that's how the idea of CliffCentral was born. It's Gareth's very own uncensored, online-radio station, which covers everything from news and politics to entertainment and gossip.

Although people are still getting used to the idea of listening to live-radio online, Gareth's wish definitely turned into a reality.
