Uh oh! Generations could be in trouble, y'all.
According to Daily Sun, new episodes of the SABC1 soapie might run out. Desmond Brown, who's the lawyer of the axed actors, told the paper that the last episode could air at the end of this month. An anonymous source told the paper that advertisers are pulling out because they do not want to be associated with the drama surrounding the soapie.
Desmond told Daily Sun: “They only shot episodes to last until the end of the month, and unfortunately Mfundi Vundla is insisting that he is not talking to the actors. On the other hand, the actors do not want to go to work until certain conditions have been met. They feel there is nothing to negotiate."
He added that they hope sanity will return to some people's minds and they will start talking to the actors again. The actors were fired after embarking on an illegal strike over salary negotiations and other issues. When asked if the show is running out of episodes, SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said: "I think you should ask the production house. We do not deal with production."
