Is Mama Africa's grandson destroying her legacy?

According to the Sunday Sun Mama Afrika, Miriam Makeba's estate is in ruins and it's all her grandsons fault.

The paper says that they have visited the house of the late Mama Miriam and found it in disarray, with faulty intercoms and overgrown grass.

"Mama Africa's house is not being looked after. Sometimes they go for days or even weeks without electricity and water as they are not paid for," a family friend told the paper.

The estate was left in the hands of her eldest grandson,Nelson Lumumba Lee, who the paper says has left it to decay. And they claim the house isn't the only thing decaying -  the family has gone through some financial troubles they say have forced Nelson's girlfriend to ask for a job at a local supermarket.

Sources say Nelson needs serious financial help but he is too proud to ask. Nelson says that the estate's affairs are no ones business.
