Is Tina J really joining e.tv's new telenovela?

Johannesburg - If you, like us, thought actress Tina Jaxa has been awfully quiet you might be pleased to know that the Madam and Eve actress could soon be making a comeback to our TV screens on e.tv's new telenovela, Gold Diggers.

According to Sunday World, Tina is set to appear on the show, playing the role of a wife to Mbongeni Ngema's character, Patrick.

Actress Clementine Mosimane (who played Thandi Mazwai in Soul City) is said to be playing the role of another wife to polygamist Patrick.

Rapper and actor Zuluboy is said to be playing the role of Patrick's son and heir.

When The Juice reached out to the show's bosses we were told only of Zuluboy's appointment.

 “We can confirm that Zuluboy has been cast on Gold Diggers. There are lots of speculations surrounding the Gold Diggers cast. We will reveal the cast information in due course,” e.tv's GM of group Communications Matlapulana Ragoasha told The Juice.

Now, please, no more jokes about Tina being a gold digger...
