There's been rumours of a comeback for years, but it seems like Janet Jackson may be finally ready!
It was only two weeks ago that the rumour mill went into overdrive with speculation that the singer was in studio hard at work on a comeback album, her first since 2008, to be launched by the end of the year. Part of the album was said to be dedicated to her brother, the legend, Michael Jackson.
The rumours weren't helped by Janet taking to her official Twitter page to announce that "if there is a new project, you'll hear it from my lips". From that moment, the rumours just refused to go away.
But Creative Director of Balmain Fashion and bestie to the likes of Kim K and Rihanna, Olivier Rousteing, has given us perhaps the clearest indication yet that a comeback for Janet is on the cards, and it's happening "soon".
He took to Instagram on Friday morning, posting a picture of Janet's timeless Rolling Stone cover shoot with the caption "Coming soon". Olivier is quite tight with the stars like that and so, if he says something's brewing, then it most probably is.
We'll just be sitting here holding thumbs!
