Itu Khune inspires young children

The soccer star has thanked fans for their unwavering support since he's been out of action.

Itu is currently recovering from a stress fracture to his ankle and could be away from the soccer field for as long as eight weeks. What made matters worse was that he was expected to be announced as captain of Bafana Bafana.

Judging from his Instagram posts, Itu's been trying to keep his chin up, despite his grim situation. And, his fans have been showering him with words of support and encouragement.

Even little children! Itu posted this video of a group of kids who recognised him, while he was driving and stopped him.

"I'm really touched by the love and support I get from the people I meet everywhere I go. Thank you very much for that.God bless you all," Itu captioned the vid.
