Itu gives back

When he isn't saving goals he's saving lives - that's our Itu Khune!

Itu took some time out of his hectic schedule this week to hand out shoes to needy school kids in Soweto.

The Kaizer Chiefs shot stopper handed out  shoes to about 50 school children between the ages of 6 and 10 in Kliptown as part of a Kliptown Youth Programme to identify school children whose families could not afford new shoes.

And it must have made an impact on Itu, because not long after he took to Instagram to write about his experience. "Moved by what I saw. I remembered my own upbringing in Ventersdorp and coming from a Family where life was often hard, I felt an overwhelming responsibility to reach out and assist these students, which my story relates to.

We love a man with a big heart and it seems they don't come much bigger than Itu's.
