Itumeleng Khune returns to the field

After months of being on the bench due to an ankle injury, Itu is returning.

Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter told Sowetan that Itu will be given a chance to play in a friendly match against Iran.

"Itu will get a game, so if [Bafana coach] Shakes Mashaba is hopeful of him being available for the Africa Cup of Nations [in January], he will at least have one game against the Iranian national team under his belt," he explained.

Meanwhile, Itu has been left out of the preliminary squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

However, according to reports this could change in the coming months.
