Jay fights for animal rights

While most of us spent Saturday morning sleeping in, actress Jay Anstey took to the Joburg streets to join a thousand-strong crowd protesting against canned lion hunting.

Jay, who was there with boyfriend George Avakian, told The Juice she wants to make a difference. "Lions are being bred only to die." Adding, "It's time for people to stand up and make their voice known. What has been allowed to happen in this country is wrong."

The group met at Zoo Lake and marched around the area for most of Saturday morning.
